Penyelamatan Lingkungan melalui Pertanian
Di era globalisasi ini perkembangan tenknologi berkembang sangat cepat sehingga memudahkan manusia dalam beraktivitas. Namun, dampak negatif dari perkembangan teknologi mengakibatakan bumi kita semakin rusak. Seperti hutan semakin gundul yang berakibat makin banyaknya bencana tanah longsor dan banjir bandang. Lingkungan sudah tercemar sehingga mengakibatkan udara panas, sampah tak terkendali, sungai tercemar, dan lain-lain. Dampak yang paling ekstrim dari rusaknya bumi adalah iklim yang sudah tidak menentu. Menurut hasil penelitian lembaga riset, menunjukkan fakta bahwa akan terjadi perubahan ekstrim yang berpotensi mengancam kehidupan manusia saat ini dan masa mendatang. Oleh sebab itu, harus ada upaya-upaya untuk menjaga bumi kita agar tidak rusak dan menjadikan bumi kita sebagai tempat yang layak untuk kita tinggali.
Upaya-upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menyelamatkan lingkungan dengan pertanian adalah:
- Memberikan sosialisasi pada masyarakat tentang pertanian yang ramah ligkungan.
- Penggunaan pupuk organik
- Pengilahan limbah pertanian
- Penggunaan teknologi pertanian yang ramah lingkungan
- Membatasi penggunaan rumah kaca (green house)
- Tidak mengalihfungsikan hutan menjadi lahan pertanian
- Mengenbangkan sistem pertanian berkelanjutan.
