Peran Generasi Muda Dalam Pembangunan Pertanian
Pembangunan pertanian adalah pemanfaatan seluruh potensi sumberdaya pertanian dengan tujuan meningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, langkah yang perlu ditempuh adalah dengan cara menggali dan mengoptimalkan seluruh potensi sumberdaya (SDA, SDM, kelembagaan, dan teknologi) serta memberdayakan masyarakat agar mampu mengelola potensi tersebut secara produktif dan efisien untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraannya.
Salah satu potensi yang memiliki peran penting adalah sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas dan memiliki komitmen membangun sektor pertanian. Kualitas sumber daya manusia memiliki makna yang penting karena segala sumber daya yang ada tidak dapat berjalan optimal dan terberdayakan dengan baik apabila tidak dimainkan oleh SDM yang handal, berintegritas, dan memiliki komitmen kuat. SDM yang dimaksud disini adalah pemuda yang memiliki peran aktif sebagai kekuatan moral, kontrol sosial dan sebagai agen perubahan (agent Of change). Yang merupakan perwujudan dari fungsi, peran, karakteristik dan kedudukannya yang strategi dalam pembangunan nasional.
Dalam rangka pemberdayaan petani, pemerintah melalui Departemen Pertanian telah melaksanakan program-program yang sangat bagus dalam membangun pertanian seperti pendidikan formal, pendidikan non-formal (penyuluhan, pendampingan), penguatan modal usaha kelompok (PMUK), penguatan modal Lembaga Usaha Ekonomi Perdesaan (LUEP), penjaminan kredit dan lain sebagainya (Suswono, 2008). Namin, jika kita melihat kenyataan yang ada di lapangan adalah infrastruktur pertanian yang kurang memadai, organisasi petani dan kualitas sumberdaya manusia yang lemah, masih rendahnya dukungan kelembagaan dan manajemen pengelolaan pertanian yang belum mengarah ke kaidah bisnis, telah mengakibatkan usahatani menjadi kurang menarik secara ekonomis, karena belum mampu memberikan jaminan sebagai sumber pendapatan untuk hidup secara layak.
Segala permasalahan yang dialami petani dalam usaha taninya dan bidang pertanian dalam konteks pembangunannya, setidaknya dapat dicarikan jalan keluar melalui suatu upaya. Untuk itu, beberapa peran yang dapat diambil oleh para pemuda antara lain adalah :
- Ikut berperan dalam pembuatan kebijakan sektor pertanian
- Melakukan pengawasan terhadap program-program pertanian
- Melakukan bimbingan dan pemberdayaan petani
- Memberikan perlindungan hukum dalam sektor pertanian
- Menjadi SDM pembangunan pertanian.

For what its worth, the layout is definitely amazing. You know the best way to balance writing and images/videos. Nevertheless, I cant get over how little you truly bring to light here.
